In the north of the island is Megalochori, which has two beaches with crystal clear blue waters in natural bays that create sandy and pebbly areas.

The first beach is located at the entrance of Megalochori, to the right of the port, in front of the "Amaryllis" Hotel. It is an organized sandy beach with umbrellas, sunbeds and tables, where you can enjoy your bath and at the same time your coffee, a drink, an iced fresh natural juice or a nice snack.

The beach has crystal clear blue-green waters, faces the open sea and is a delight for children and families, since its sandy beach is suitable for rackets and other water games.

The second beach, pebbly and in places sandy, is not organized, receives less people and is located to the left of the port of Megalochori, in front of the "Seaside Studios", on the coastal road that leads to the exit of Megalochori
