A. Opposite Agistri is Aegina, which you can visit by ferry boat, by flying dolphin, by “Agistri Express”, or by a water taxi that leaves frequently, densely in the summer, daily from the port of Skala or of Mylos.

B. Also, with the “Agistri Express” or with a water taxi, day trips to Aegina are organized for groups, from which those interested return late at night. Visitors to Aegina can, among others, visit the Monastery of Agios Nektarios and the Temple of Aphaia by taxi, by arrangement.

C. In July & August, excursions are organized for the theatrical performances at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, to which you will be taken by the Agistri Express or a water taxi.

IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITHOUT A CAR

With Agistri as your starting point, you can, apart from Aegina, visit Methana and the islands of Poros, Hydra and Spetses with at least two-day excursions.

For these excursions, you pass through the Megalochori of Agistri in Aegina with the morning route of 8.00 or 9.00 a.m. of the flying dolphins and take the ferry boat that comes from Piraeus and runs the route Piraeus – Aegina – Methana – Poros. The trip takes about 45 minutes to Methana and 1 hour and 15 minutes to Poros.

From Poros you take the flying dolphin that comes from Piraeus and runs the route Piraeus – Poros – Hydra – Spetses. The trip takes about 35 minutes from Poros to Hydra and 1 hour from Poros to Spetses.

You return to Agistri by doing the reverse course of the itineraries we mentioned above, paying careful attention in advance to the responses of the ships you used.

IF YOU ARE TRAVELING BY CAR

With Agistri as your starting point, you can, apart from Aegina, visit Methana and the islands of Poros, Hydra and Spetses with at least two-day excursions.

Because the first ferry boat that leaves in the morning from Agistri, HAS NO CORRESPONDENCE FOR A LITTLE TIME, with the ferry boat that runs the route Piraeus – Aegina – Methana – Poros, you have to go with your car to Aegina from the day before.

The ferry boat that comes from Piraeus and runs the route Piraeus – Aegina – Methana – Poros leaves Aegina in the morning, around 10.30 am. The trip takes about 45 minutes to get to Methana and 1 hour and 15 minutes to get to Poros.

Galatas – Metochi – Hydra	Galatas – Kosta – Spetses

From Poros you cross with a small ferry boat, opposite Galatas, within 5 minutes and then you go along the coast and by road to Metohi, in about 45 minutes, which is opposite Hydra or to Kosta, in about 1 hour and 15 minutes, which is located across from Spetses.

On the coastal road Galatas – Metohi – Kosta you will find the locations of “Hermioni”, in about 1 hour, before Costa and “Porto Cheli”, in 1 hour and 15 minutes, right of Costa.

From Metochi, where there is also a guarded parking lot, you cross over to Hydra by boat “freedom”, that doesn’t take transport, in 15 minutes or with a sea taxi.

From Kosta, where there is also a guarded parking lot, you cross over to Spetses by boat or ferry boat, which does not take vehicles, or by a sea taxi, in 15 minutes.

Finally, from Metochi or Kosta you can return by road in about 3 hours to Piraeus or Athens.
